In which language can I study and take my examinations?

How can I book my official EASA theoretical examinations?
For examinations in Villach, you can book through our partner, Aviation Test EU, using its published monthly examination dates. We assist with the ATO recommendation and examination paperwork. Vienna and other examination centres follow their own booking procedures.
Where can I sit my official EASA examinations?
Examinations are available in Austria, including Villach and Vienna, and through Austro Control’s international network of external examination centres. You may also choose another EASA competent authority, subject to its registration requirements. The complete examination set must be taken under the responsibility of the same competent authority.
How do I enrol, and what are the costs?
Contact us with your current qualifications and intended licensing pathway. We confirm eligibility, recommend the appropriate course and provide a quotation before enrolment. Once enrolment is complete, you receive access to your study resources. Course tuition and examination fees are separate. Aviation Test EU currently publishes a Villach examination fee of €116.99 per subject, with an additional card processing fee.
How does ICAO licence conversion work?
We review your existing licence, training and experience to identify the theoretical preparation required for your intended EASA or Oman CAA conversion route. We then guide you through the relevant theory training and examination preparation. Any credits, practical training, medical requirements and skill tests depend on your circumstances and the requirements of the relevant licensing authority.
How much time do I have to complete the EASA ATPL examinations?
Under EASA FCL.025, you must pass all 13 subjects within 18 months, counted from the end of the calendar month in which you first attempt an examination. You have a maximum of six sittings and four attempts per subject.
